Trained as an urban planner, Dominic has spent his career at the intersection of cities and social impact—working across sectors to make communities more livable.
From real estate and sustainability start-ups to anti-poverty work at the Federal Reserve, the through-line has always been the same: a belief that places thrive when people feel a deep sense of connection and ownership.
Through years of involvement with local nonprofits, Dominic found a deep sense of belonging in his adopted home of New York. But what struck him was how overwhelming and opaque civic life could feel from the outside.
Over time, that observation became a conviction: getting involved shouldn’t be reserved for those with connections or who happen to stumble into them.
From that, Citizenry was born.
When he’s not working, you can usually find him on his road bike, snowboarding, hiking, or getting lost in a museum.
